Advocacy assistant Giulianna Pendleton weighed in on the issue of protecting the newts on Alma Bridge Road, just outside Los Gatos. These newts make an annual journey across this winding road to breed, a dangerous trip that has claimed more than 5,000 individuals this year alone.
