Young Birders Club: Don Edwards NWR Ravenswood Salt Pond SF2

  • Don Edwards NWR Ravenswood Salt Pond SF2 2100 Willow Road Menlo Park, CA, 94025 United States (map)

Join the Young Birders Club to find summer shorebirds at Don Edwards National Wildlife Refuge! Visiting Ravenswood Salt Pond SF2, we’ll observe the Forster’s Terns, Caspian Terns, California Gulls, and possible Black Skimmers that breed here. These salt marshes are also great spots to look for resident waterfowl including Willets, Marbled Godwits, Black-bellied Plover, and more.

This trip is designed for young birders, though parents and siblings are welcome to attend! We welcome birders of all skill levels. Loaner binoculars are available for participants.
