Early Spring at Rancho Canada del Oro

Instead of hunting Easter eggs today, look for spring warblers with us! We'll walk along the flat trails near the entrance of Rancho Canada del Oro listening to early birdsong and keeping an eye out for any new migrants.

Trip Difficulty: 1.5 miles, paved, gravel, dirt, muddy or possibly muddy after rain

Meet: Overflow parking lot

Directions: From US-101, exit Bailey Ave. Continue west on Bailey Ave for 3 miles. Turn left onto McKean Rd, continue for 2.5 miles, then turn right onto Casa Loma Rd. The preserve is located at the end of Casa Loma Rd and the overflow lot is 1/4 mile up the road from the main parking lot - please do not park in the gravel equestrian lot. Facilities: ADA accessible porta-potty, cell coverage may be intermittent or non-existent
