Join us for a birding stroll on at Palo Alto Baylands! This field trip is exclusively tailored for Chinese speakers to foster a sense of unity within our multicultural community and to promote the wonderful world of birding. In the Baylands, many spices of birds can be seen, especially now the wintering birds have arrived. Let's enjoy the Autumn symphony of birds and embrace the beauty of nature together.

Trip Difficulty: 2 miles; wide, paved path to garden; packed dirt around and throughout the garden.

Meet: Parking lot across from Lucy Evans Nature Center

Directions: From US-101 in Palo Alto take Embarcadero Rd east towards the bay. Pass the airport and turn left at the T-intersection. Continue for 0.5 miles passing the duck pond. Just over the bridge, the nature center (2775 Embarcadero Rd) will be on your left and the paved parking area will be on your right. Latitude/Longitude: 37.459384, -122.106171 (for in front of Lucy Evans) or 37.458949, -122.105212 for the parking lot.

Facilities: porta-potty, drinking water, cell phone service

Parking Type and Fees: paved parking lot, no fees
