Young Birders Club: North Coyote Valley Conservation Area

  • North Coyote Valley Conservation Area Santa Teresa Boulevard San Jose, CA, 95141 United States (map)

Join the Young Birders Club to explore the North Coyote Valley Conservation Area! Nestled in the rich oak savanna landscape along Santa Teresa Blvd just north of Bailey Road, it is an important anchor for this fragile habitat and home to a number of important bird species. You can look forward to seeing signature species of Santa Clara's mid-county area including Yellow-billed Magpie, Lark Sparrow, Ferruginous Hawk (winter) and a variety of surprises to be found in the seasonal wetlands area and Fisher Creek.

This trip is designed for young birders, but parents and siblings are welcome to attend. We welcome birders of all skill levels! Loaner binoculars are available for participants.

Meet: gated entrance off of Santa Teresa Blvd.
