Ulistac Migrant Birding by Ear and Photo Walk

We will bird Ulistac Natural Area in Santa Clara looking for passage migrants. We will focus on increasing/maintaining our ear birding skills and learning to take better photos of birds. Bring the longest focal length lens that you can hand carry or support with a monopod (tripods won't be needed).

Trip Difficulty: 3 miles, paved trails, flat, with minimal elevation gain.

Intermediate Level Birding, Advanced Birding, Photowalk (primary purpose of outing is photography)

Meet: South entrance off Lick Mill Blvd.

Directions: From CA-237 exit Great America Pkwy south, drive 0.8 miles, then turn left on Tasman Dr. In 1 mile turn right on Lick Mill Blvd and travel about 0.5 miles to the park which will be on your left. Street parking. Latitude/Longitude: 37.403418, -121.953984
