Hispanic Heritage Celebration

  • Sierra Vista Open Space Preserve Sierra Rd San Jose, CA 95127 United States (map)

We are honored to announce the 4th Annual Hispanic Heritage Celebration in collaboration with partnering organizations!

We celebrate national Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 to October 15) to recognize the achievements and contributions of Hispanic American champions who have inspired others to achieve success. The 2023 theme for Hispanic Heritage Month is 'Prosperity, Power, and Progress', recognising the significant achievements of the Hispanic community in the economic and political industries.

The theme reinforces the need to ensure diverse voices and perspectives are welcomed in decision-making processes, thereby helping to build stronger communities and a stronger Nation.

United with Latino Outdoors, Peninsula Open Space Trust, GreenLatinos, Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Santa Clara Valley Audubon Society, and REI.

This unique event features exhibitor tables hosted by our partners, free tacos, beans, rice, refreshments, socialization and an optional gentle 1-mile sunset hike to a scenic overlook. Everyone is welcome.
