Shoreline Lake Photowalk

This easy photo walk covers Charleston Slough, Coast-Casey Forebay, Salt Pond A1 and Shoreline Lake. We will look for sandpipers, ducks, wading birds, terns, and a variety of other species. Advanced birders, beginning birders and everyone in between are all welcome to attend! Bring your longest lens and wear protective clothing (e.g. waterproof pants). We will try for flight (BIF) and eye level shots of a variety of birds.

Trip Difficulty: 2 miles, paved, gravel, dirt, and grass trails; muddy or possibly muddy after rain; little or no elevation gain; little to no shade

Meet: The end of Terminal Blvd in Mountain View (east end of Terminal Blvd)

Directions: From US-101 in Mountain View, take San Antonio Rd north to Terminal Blvd. Park along Terminal Blvd and meet at the entrance to Shoreline Park at the end of Terminal Blvd. Latitude/Longitude: 37.433398, -122.096920
