Observe, enjoy and learn about the hundreds of bird species that visit our wetlands every year. If you haven't spent time by the bay, you are in for a real treat. SCVAS will have docents stationed on the Charleston Slough observation deck overlooking the tidal estuary, identifying birds and discussing their behaviors and adaptations. Drop in anytime during the event and bring binoculars if you have them. Otherwise, there will be some binoculars available. Registration is not required for drop-ins, but we encourage it so you can be notified of cancellations and add the event to your calendar.
