The picturesque Sycamore Grove Park is located in Livermore. The habitat includes lush creekside sycamore woodland, orchards, open meadows, and oak-laden hillsides. We will stroll the level dirt trails in search of colorful spring migrants such as Lazuli Bunting, Western Tanager, and Black-headed Grosbeak, as well as a variety of Flycatchers. Wood Duck are occasionally seen along the creek, and if we are lucky we may see Great Horned Owl and young.
