Coyote Creek in Morgan Hill

We'll follow the meandering Coyote Creek starting at the Coyote Creek Visitor Center in Morgan Hill looking for raptors like White-tailed Kites and Red-shouldered Hawks in open areas, Wood Ducks and Common Mergansers in the creek, and songbirds such as Oak Titmice and Chestnut-backed Chickadees in the oaks and sycamores that line the creek.

Trip Difficulty: 3 miles, paved and dirt trails, no elevation gain

Meet: Coyote Creek Visitor Center (do not drive up to the dam)

Directions: From US-101, exit Cochrane Rd and head east. Turn left onto Malaguerra Ave and continue into the park, with parking lots on the left. The visitor center is next to the parking lots. Latitude/Longitude: 37.166893, -121.649175
