Boardwalk & Beyond Photowalk (Alviso)

This photowalk explores parts of Don Edwards National Wildlife Refuge. We'll walk the boardwalk of the New Chicago Marsh & beyond to the entrance road. This is a great spot for shorebirds like Black-necked Stilts, American Avocets, sandpipers, terns, and more. This trip will be limited to 5 attendees.

Trip Difficulty: 2-3 miles, paved, gravel, dirt, and grass routes; little or no elevation gain; little to no shade

Meet: Main EEC Parking Lot

Directions: From CA-237 exit north onto Zanker Rd. Continue on Zanker Rd for about 2.5 miles (Zanker Rd becomes Los Esteros Rd). Make a sharp right turn onto Grand Blvd and continue into the park. Latitude/Longitude: 37.439242, -121.959694
