Bird Photography Walk along the Bay Trail in Sunnyvale

Enjoy birding and photography both in one time! Bring your camera and binocular and join our walk along the Bay Trail in Sunnyvale.

Trip Difficulty: 2 miles, flat trail, easy walk

Meet: Bay Trail entrance on the northside of W Caribbean Dr

Directions: From CA-237 in Sunnyvale, exit Lawrence Expy/Caribbean Dr. Continue onto Caribbean Dr. In a little over one mile, you’ll pass Borregas Ave. After you’ve passed Borregas Ave, park anywhere along W Caribbean Dr. Latitude/Longitude of meeting point: 37.417656,-122.019014. Notes: If the parking on W Caribbean Dr has filled up, additional parking is available (weekends-only) at the office complex at 701 1st Ave. From the meeting point, take the first right onto 1st Ave. Take the first right into the office complex parking lot, parking is on your right and labeled “Visitor Parking”. If the gate guard is there, just let them know you will be using the Bay Trail. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the meeting spot. Latitude/Longitude for alternate parking: 37.416714, -122.025630
