BAY BIRDING FOR BEGINNERS: A16 IN FALL

Beginner-focused (but open to all skill levels) field trip at one of the prime bayside birding spots in the county. We'll look for lingering fall migrants as well as newly arrived winter residents, hoping to get some early ducks and gulls.  

Trip Difficulty: 2 miles, flat packed dirt trails

Beginner Friendly

Meet:  Don Edwards Environmental Education Center parking lot

Directions: From CA-237 exit north onto Zanker Rd. Continue on Zanker Rd for about 2.5 miles (Zanker Rd becomes Los Esteros Rd). Make a sharp right turn onto Grand Blvd and continue into the park. Latitude/Longitude: 37.439242, -121.959694
