Topic: "Birds of Cuba" with Peter Hart
Description: "With Cuba more accessible now than it has been for decades, it’s sure to become a popular destination for birders and bird photographers. After all, it has a lot to offer: It’s a short distance from the US, has a functioning infrastructure, and of course it has lots of beautiful birds, including two dozen species endemic to the island.
I’ll show photos of Cuban birds taken across a wide variety of habitats, including many endemics and several rarities—species thought to have fewer than a thousand individuals. Along the way, I’ll show some glimpses of Cuban life today."
